The best five shampoos for fine hair.

And the winners are….
My five best shampoos for fine hair.
You asked, so here we go, my five favourite shampoo’s for fine, fragile, limp, lacklus. … you get the picture!

So below are the go to shampoo’s,  I’ve found really understand my fine hair.  Some I’ve stumbled across, by pure luck .  Some were recommend to me by hairstylists . Some by others who know the angst of fine hair…

For sake of  transparency, this is not a sponsored  blog . (Although it has  requested.)

The shampoos mentioned are just my preference.!  They may not be yours. after all, hair products are often down purely to personal preference .

In no particular order.

L ‘Oreal Elvive Fibrology Fine Hair Thickening Shampoo.

The formula in this range is said to contain a new molecule that penetrates inside the hair, expanding strands from within.

I’ve found its good for when you want a potent lift. It makes  my hair appear thicker and my hair gets better with continued use.

Liz Earle Botanical Shine Shampoo.

A wonderful shampoo for all most hair types. Its soothing to the scalp I use it when I’ve been out in the sun and my scalp feels like it needs some TLC . According to the Liz Earle team, this shampoo  contains all sorts of natural goodies.  including West African shea butter and vitamin E to leave hair naturally shiny and smooth. It does tend to lather up more than most sulphate free options but worth the bubbles !

Redken Blonde Idol Sulphate Free Shampoo.

This baby , may not actually be formulated for fine hair however. it lifts my colour treated hair  leaving it bouncy and shining with oomph.

It feels luxurious, and doesn’t weigh my fine hair down, the way some shampoo’s for colour treated hair does.

Nioxin System 2 Cleanser & Scalp Therapy for Fine Thinning Hair.

For me this is a serious shampoo it’s a don’t mess with me, I’m full of science and the like.  The promo reads a bit like a contract .

YOU ; owner of fine , limp .. yeah we’ve covered that bit..

BioAMP adds thickness and strengthens the hair shaft. Bionutrients and Activ-Renewal help provide a more youthful-looking scalp complexion. Unique Scalp-Access delivery system helps protect nutrients as they nourish the scalp and hair…  Say what ?

Gently cleanses away toxins, residue and DHT while protecting color fadage. Helps reduce excessive daily hair loss. For chemically enhanced hair. …

yeah I love it .

Not completely sure what the above actually means . BUT I do know,  it’s the best shampoo I’ve used. See now that what they should say  instead of all that sciencey  stuff.   Not gonna lie though this does tend to be my Payday treat.

Keratin Repair Shampoo said to Repairs 2 years of damage in 2 minutes. Well I’ve not found that !  however I really do love this shampoo, I’ve found it  to be reliable. my hair always reacts well to the formula. giving me sleek shiny hair that has a kick in it .

So there my choices, Let me know if you’ve  have seriously good results from any Shampoos I’ve not mentioned.

  2. I really enjoyed this blog. You always make me laugh! . I was wondering if you would write a blog about the different types of Nioxin Systems. As I wondered what the different System numbers mean.

I’ve lost some of my hair and lost a lot of the volume since I’ve had my daughter last year.
